House Rules

Check-in and check-out
Check-in: Your very welcome to check in at Boutique Hotel Bougainvillea from 3 PM until 11 PM. If you want to check in later than 11 PM, please let us know, so we can look for a suitable solution.
Check-out: check-out is from 8 AM until 11 AM. A late check-out is only available on request with an extra fee and subject to availability. Please note that check-out later than 11 AM without prior notification may incur additional charges.

Identification
Upon check-in, we kindly ask you to present a valid form of identification from the main booker (passport or national ID card).

Liability for Damage and Loss
Any damage to hotel property caused during your stay may be charged to your account. The hotel cannot be held liable for the loss or theft of personal belongings.

Alcohol and Drug Policy
To ensure a safe, pleasant and respectful environment for all our guests, the use of drugs (both soft and hard) is strictly prohibited at Boutique Hotel Bougainvillea. This applies to all areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, balconies and shared spaces. Excessive alcohol consumption or disruptive behavior may result in immediate termination of the stay without refund. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Behavior and Disturbance
Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward other guests, staff and the property. Disturbances such as excessive noise, aggressive behavior or failure to follow house rules will not be tolerated. In serious cases or of issues persist, Boutique Hotel Bougainvillea reserves the right to terminate the stay immediately without a refund.

CCTV Surveillance
To ensure the safety of our guests, staff and property Boutique Hotel Bougainvillea uses security cameras in public areas such as the entrance, hallways and shared spaces. These recordings are used solely for security purposes and are handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws. No cameras are installed in guest rooms or private areas.

Rooms & amenities
- Respect the comfort of other guests. Loud music between 10 PM and 7 AM is not allowed.
- You can only use the white towels in your room. If you want to use a towel at the beach or pool, you can use the blue-white striped towels.
- Smoking is not permitted in the rooms.
- It’s not allowed to move furniture or decoration in your room, or take it outside.
- Damage on room decorations or furniture or excessive dirt can lead to additional charges.
- Cooking in the room is strictly prohibited. This includes the use of hot plates, portable stoves, or any other cooking appliances. Violating this rule may result in additional cleaning fees being charged.

Parking
Hotel guests can park the car along the road on both sides of the street in front of the hotel.
- Parking on the driveway or in front of the main entrance is not permitted, so that access to emergency services remains free.
- Loading and unloading luggage is permitted, but only for a short period of time.

Swimming pool and facilities
- The swimming pool is open from 8 AM until 10 PM.
- It is not permitted to dive or jump in and around the pool.
- It is not permitted to play loud music or noise around the pool after 10 PM.
- Children under the age of 12 years are very welcome, but only under the guidance of an adult.
- Enter the swimming pool at your own risk.Own consumptions
- Own drinks and food is permitted in your room.
- In public places like the restaurant and lounge we kindly ask you to only use consumptions offered by the hotel.

Pets
Pets are not permitted on our resort.

Smoking
- Smoking is not permitted in the rooms and inside places.
- Smoking is only permitted in the lounge on the assigned places.
- Always use an ashtray and do not throw cigarette butts on the floor. You can ask an ashtray at our front office or restaurant staff.

Safety and liability
- Always close your door when leaving the room.
- You can put valuables in the safe in your closet.
- The resort is not liable for loss or damaged personal items.
- In case of damage, loss or improper use of hotel facilities, charges may be applied.

Behavior, alcohol and drugs

Behavior
- Treat fellow guests, staff and environment with respect.
- Nuisance, aggression, verbal or physical violence, vandalism or other inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
- Parties or gatherings that cause a nuisance are not permitted in the room or in our public areas.
- In the event of serious or repeated misconduct, we reserve the right to deny guests access to the hotel or terminate their stay early, without refund.

Alcohol
- Alcoholic drinks are available at the bar of our restaurant.
- We would appreciate it if you use alcohol in a responsible way.
- Self-brought alcohol is only permitted on the room, not in our common areas.

Drugs policy
- The use or possession of soft or hard drugs is not permitted in or around the hotel, in accordance with Bonaire law.
- If this is found, we may deny you access to the hotel and contact the authorities.

Cancelation Policy

Thank you for choosing Boutique Hotel Bougainvillea. Please note that by completing your reservation, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. Cancellation and payment policies may be different based on your chosen rate.

Standard Rate 

Cancellation
- Free cancellation is possible up to 30 days before arrival.
- If cancelled within 7 days before arrival 50% of the total price will be charged.
- In case of a no show (failure to arrive without prior cancellation), 100% of the total price will be charged.

Prepayment
- A prepayment of 50% of the total price will be charged after the reservation is made.
- This remaining amount (the other 50%) will be automatically charged 7 days prior to arrival using the provided payment details.

Age Policy 
Please note that children aged 12 and older are welcome at our hotel. We are unable to accommodate children under the age of 12.

Non-Refundable Rate

Cancellation
- If cancelled at any time, 100% of the total price will be charged.
- In case of a no-show (failure to arrive withour prior cancellation), 100% of the total price will be charged. Prepayment
- The total amount be charged in full at any time after the reservation is made.

Age Policy 
Please note that children aged 12 and older are welcome at our hotel. We are unable to accommodate children under the age of 12.

Payment Terms
Payment is only possible with a valid credit card.
- The provided credit card must remain valid throughout the entire stay.
- By making a reservation, you authorize us to charge the provided creditcard in accordance with the terms outlined above.

Please note: We do not accept American Express (AMEX). However, payment with other major credit cards is possible.
